Participants in Liberty@Work® typically work in a full-time job at a non-profit organization and take part in professional education and hands-on training. The curriculum focuses on Market-Based Management® (MBM®), a framework for understanding how an organization grows and prospers in the long term. Participants may live far away from one another but for four hours every Wednesday, they virtually join other participants from across the country to engage in group projects, reading discussions, workshops, and more. All these components combine to help participants gain the skills and knowledge to be more effective advocates of free societies and to improve well-being both in their current roles and throughout their careers.
Participants and instructors will interact via a state-of-the-art online educational platform. The technology is an advanced web conferencing tool that facilitates the online learning experience. This 21st century classroom allows participants to easily share documents, converse with their peers, and interact with instructors via video and audio communications.
The first week of the program takes place in Washington, DC, and gives participants the chance to meet one other and engage in in-depth professional education and networking. Throughout the year, participants will travel for three additional professional education summits.
