Programs Overview

Our educational programs equip innovators to discover their personal passions and make an immediate impact — to create new ventures, improve existing institutions, and contribute right away. Whether you are just beginning your venture or further along, we want to hear from you.

The Koch Internship Program (KIP) and the Koch Associate Program (KAP) are designed to inspire and empower social entrepreneurs — to connect them with leaders in their industry, to help them develop a world-class peer network, to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to make a positive impact right now.

Our curriculum centers on Market-Based Management™ (MBM), the management philosophy used by Koch Industries and the Stand Together community. All participants in KIP and KAP are equipped with the principles, decision-making tools, and growth mindsets of MBM, preparing them for effective leadership in a dynamic world.

The Koch Internship Program is a three-month paid internship opportunity. In addition to regular in-classroom learning at Charles Koch Institute, interns work at one of our participating organizations the majority of the week, gaining professional experience and learning an entrepreneurial mindset. Learn more about KIP.

The Koch Associate Program is a ten month, paid professional opportunity. KAP is designed for early- and mid-career professionals. Associates spend four days a week working at a participating organization, and one day in MBM training at CKI. Learn more about KAP.
