Work with today’s leaders

The Charles Koch Institute collaborates with a large and growing network of 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations as part of its Koch Associate Program (KAP) and Koch Internship Program (KIP) as well as a variety of media partners for the Poynter-Koch Media and Journalism Fellowship.

KAP and KIP Participating Organizations

Jobs and internships offered through CKI’s educational programs provide the opportunity to explore social entrepreneurship in fields such as communications, operations, research, external relations, and donor relations. The list of participating organizations with available roles changes from year to year based on the talent needs of each organization. Both the Charles Koch Institute and the Charles Koch Foundation hire participants as part of the educational programs as well.

Poynter-Koch Media and Journalism Fellowship Participating Organizations

We work with a variety of media partners, all ranging in size, focus, medium, and target audience. One thing that all our participating organizations have in common is their passion for good journalism and a shared focus on preserving free speech and improving a free press.

The list of outlets may change from year to year, based on the needs of each organization. Below is a partial list of our current participating organizations that have hired fellows. The outlets you could join extend beyond this list. If there’s somewhere you are currently working or would like to work but don’t see here; or if you’re a media outlet interested in partnering with us, contact us to share your suggestion.

Media Partners

These participating organizations support members of the 2019-2020 class of fellows. Next year’s partnering organizations will publish at the start of their term.
