By Ground and By Air: Ridesharing, Autonomous Vehicles, and Drones in the Sunshine State

February 8 @ 6:00 pm

By Ground and By Air: Ridesharing, Autonomous Vehicles, and Drones in the Sunshine State

New types of transportation have been driving news coverage across the country. Ridesharing, autonomous vehicle technology, and the commercial use of drones have turned what was previously science fiction into a reality.

How should Floridians think about these changes? How might these technical advances improve public safety and mobility? As we figure out new ways to get ourselves and our stuff from point A to point B, what role do state and local actors play in creating a climate that allows for innovation while still protecting public safety?

Please join the Charles Koch Institute, The James Madison Institute, and Lyft for an engaging conversation with industry leaders and policy experts on the future of transportation in Florida and around the country.
