Cadence Learning gives teachers tools to be effective educators online

Stand Together recently featured Stand Together Trust partner Cadence Learning in a new video, exploring how a group of committed social entrepreneurs and educators are proving that online learning “doesn’t have to be a disaster.”

In April 2020, a group of educators formed Cadence Learning in order to equip teachers with tools and support to serve learners well online. The organization’s summer pilot engaged 53 schools and networks, serving 12,000 students.

After initial support from Stand Together Trust, Cadence began receiving funding from STT in August 2020 to fuel the organization’s efforts in the 2020-2021 school year and scale its impact. Receiving $1 million in support, Cadence has grown to serve 20,000 students, and is now formally partnering with school districts in Providence, Rhode Island, and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
