Your responsibilities include:
• Drive all phases of the software development life cycle utilizing Agile Scrum methodology in the creation of new software products
• Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications
• Ensure customer based functionality using object-oriented applications, languages and third-party tools
• Ensure that all development efforts are integrated so that code is readily readable and maintainable by other team members
• Write detailed design documents and lead design reviews with a cross-functional group

Required knowledge and skills you bring to the team:
• 5+ years of experience of demonstrated experience in full SDLC, application development and/or database development required
• Skilled and Experienced in Object Oriented Programming (Java or Python)
• Experience with Web Services API’s – SOAP and REST-based Web Service API’s
• Data Management and relational database design like data formats, joins, ETL, etc. – PL/SQL
• Experience with Cloud based Infrastructure (Amazon Web Services)
• Experience with Source management, DevOps methods and tools, including Jenkins, Git, or Jira
• Strong communication skills and commitment to customer focus
• Entrepreneurial spirit and high sense of urgency combined with humility
• Passion for liberty and belief that free societies best achieve peace, civility, and well-being

Standout applicants may also bring:
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Sass, JavaScript, Java, PHP, Node.js
• Managing server programs like Apache for serving apps
• Familiarity with SQL, Salesforce or other relational databases
• Familiarity with open-source technologies
• Exposure JIRA experience
